Mejo 332: PUblic relations writing and apples service
Public Relations Writing, taught by Marshéle Carter, focused on learning AP Style, writing succinctly, and how to format specific PR writing materials such as press releases, fact sheets, and more. Additionally, we were partnered with a local non-profit through the APPLES Service Learning program to help with any of their communication needs, such as graphics, videos, and press releases.
Note in the pocket
My group, Alice Holding, Charlotte Easly, Dasha, and Loulie Olson, and I were assigned to the local non-profit Note In The Pocket (NITP). NITP focused on providing up to two weeks worth of clean, trendy clothes to underprivileged kids and their entire families.
